Cultivating a Comfortable Home Yoga Practice
Creating a home yoga space is a beautiful way to honor you. Having a sacrid set space to go to can make or break your home practice. Here are a few tips to help you enjoy your home practice.
Space.
Having a designated space to practice will help you stay consistent in your home practice. Having your mat already set up will allow you one less thing to think about when are ready to practice. You do not need a lot of space or a special room, just enough space for your mat and what ever props you may need. Ensure your space is peaceful; the temperature is comfortable and maybe even some music playing. I like to have the fireplace going in the back and a heater running!
Time.
Invest in yourself by investing in time on your mat. Signing up for a class daily, moving your body allows energy to flow throughout.
Romance.
Make your space somewhere you want to spend time in. Your space should inspire you and make you want to spend time there. Light candles, have plants in the background or a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers. Your space should be inviting to all your senses. Grab your journal or a book, your morning tea or coffee and see what shows up by just spending time on your mat. Make this time special to you.

Grab a friend and take a class together. Invite your family, kids, animals to join. The more involved you are with your community the more the magic will unfold on your mat.
