When it comes to yoga, we’re the real deal

We take our yoga seriously around here. Like using infrared heat in our studios to promote healing from the inside out, or creating a non-heated, regular temp space at The Mills for those who prefer a cooler practice. Or building a badass community of yogis from all walks of life? We’re dead serious.

But when it comes to whether you can touch your toes or hit a Crows pose perfectly in class? Never. We’re too busy celebrating you for showing up in the first place.

Because to us, yoga is so much more than “just a workout”. And now’s your chance to throw caution to the wind and practice flows that make you feel like you hit the jackpot.

Come experience the Warrior Way and explore our wide range of hot yoga & fitness classes. From power to sculpt to restorative, we’ll help you discover the magic that happens on the mat when we stop taking ourselves so seriously.

The inevitable path or journey one's life is meant to follow: fate

That’s the story of Humble Warrior Power Yoga.

Some studios are born from investors and perfect plans.
This one came from real life.

In 2016, inside a regular yoga class, two women felt the same spark: there had to be a better way. A way to move that feels alive. A way to teach that feels real. A way to build community that actually feels like community.

Neither came from privilege or deep pockets.
Talitha was grinding in commercial insurance, building her career one client at a time.
Genevieve was a stay-at-home mom raising three young kids, juggling diapers, nap schedules, and teaching yoga part-time.

They were two grassroots women who worked hard, saved what they could, and risked everything to build a place for others to breathe and belong.

In 2019, they opened The Mills in Manchester. No safety net. No backers. Just determination, a dream, and a community that immediately felt the difference. The space had heart. It had soul. It had room for every kind of human to show up as they were.

Then the world shut down. And somehow, this community became even stronger. People didn’t just attend class; they held each other up. That’s when Talitha and Genevieve knew they hadn’t just opened a studio. They had created something people depended on.

The story kept unfolding.

Bedford opened in 2022.
Exeter in 2023.
Yoga Balance joined the family in 2024.

And in fall 2025, Humble Warrior crossed its first state line, opening in Kittery, Maine, to serve the southern Maine and New Hampshire seacoast—a huge milestone for a dream that started with two women who simply refused to quit.

This isn’t the story of luck or inheritance.
It’s the story of work, hope, and belief.
It’s the story of two women who built something from the ground up, one class, one student, one brave step at a time.

And the best part: The story isn’t anywhere near finished.
There’s always space for one more..

And they’re not stopping there. With more locations on the horizon, Gen & Talitha’s message to their warriors is clear:

Lead with passion. Grow with purpose. And always keep pursuing your dream.
