Retreat With Us
There's a moment on every retreat — maybe it's the first morning, coffee in hand, watching fog lift off the water — when you realize you haven't checked the time in hours. That's when it starts. That's when you come back to yourself.
A Humble Warrior retreat isn't an escape from your life. It's a return to it — the version of you underneath the schedules, the to-do lists, and the taking-care-of-everyone-else. For a few days, the only thing on your calendar is you: moving your body, eating well, resting deeply, and breathing a little slower.
And here's the part nobody expects: the people. You'll arrive knowing no one (or maybe just one brave friend you talked into coming), and you'll leave with the kind of connections that only happen when strangers practice, laugh, and share meals side by side. Community isn't something we add to our retreats — it's what they're made of.
Where we're headed next:
Seek Wilderness - Truro, Nova Scotia — Tucked beside Victoria Park, where waterfalls tumble through old hemlock woods and the loudest thing you'll hear is the trees. Calm. Quiet. Exactly what you came for.
Bear Mountain Inn - Waterford, Maine — Quiet woods, still water, and mornings that feel like a deep breath.
You've thought about it. You've said "someday." You've told yourself you'll go when things calm down.
Things never calm down. You go anyway.
This is your sign. Take the time. Save your spot — we'll meet you there.
Pratyahara: A Journey Inward 2026
Danielle, Genevieve & Rose are beyond thrilled to return to the Bear Mountain Inn in Waterford, Maine—a serene escape set on 25 stunning lakefront acres, where time slows down, distractions fade, and the journey inward begins.
This special long weekend is designed to help you reset before the holiday craziness, grounding yourself in clarity, balance, and intention so you can move into the season feeling truly connected and at peace.
What is Pratyahara?
Pratyahara, often called the "withdrawal of the senses," is one of the eight limbs of yoga.
It is the practice of turning inward, creating space to quiet the noise of the outside world and cultivate deep self-awareness, emotional balance, and mental clarity.
Through this retreat, we will embrace stillness, presence, and renewal, allowing you to rediscover your inner strength to return home feeling lighter, refreshed, and inspired.
