Yoga found Jen nearly 9 years ago while she was in college while healing from an eating disorder and a particularly difficult time in her life. She was able to practice at the Boston Baptiste studio, and various other studios in Boston while completing her undergrad degree at Boston College.  Although she has fallen in and out of the practice over the span of 9 years, she has been committed to a consistent practice for over 4 years now and feels that yoga is the constant that always brings her back to herself. Yoga has been a catalyst for self exploration, healing, connecting with her body, and connection to community no matter where she is. 

Jen has always been curious about the asana, working to deepen her practice beyond taking classes- always exploring new postures and balances at home and in nature.  In the spring of 2020, she entered a period of deeper self development and enrolled in 200 hour training virtually. She became certified so she could dive deeper and share from the heart a practice that has transformed her life in so many ways. Jen’s teaching combines fluid movement, strength, power, and connection just like her practice.

She currently works full time in finance but doesn’t feel like her career defines her as much as her connection to others and nature.  When she’s not teaching or practicing you can find her hiking the Whites, exploring national parks, finding new places/experiences, or doing anything outside with her pups and her husband.
